St. Mary's Cathedral in Tokyo

I wanted to share with you this great building that I found while surfing the other day. It is the St. Mary Cathedral in Tokyo.  This build is so well thought out for a cathedral. First of all the architect really made great choices with the use of materials, utilizing concrete, glass, and steel.  With a main entry door fashioned from a rough wood that has a traditional Asian appearance. It is so beautiful and draws you to the entrance with its warm feel. The interior is amazing with the use of glass on the vertical opening the space up for amazing natural light. I really feel that the architect thought of everything. You have to check out the image on the website of the google earth. The spin they put on the plan is the perfect combination of traditional and modern.  Far beyond any transitional style I have ever seen.
Love it!
