T Found this website while I was looking for furniture and thought this company made some beautiful pieces. Very rustic and custom as they are built from recycled drawers. They have options for custom designs any an enormous amount of options for many different sizes or spaces. An exciting drawl to the line is that every piece is different, signed and numbered.
The word schubLaden means drawer in German, which is regretfully where the company is located. In the heart of Berlin, Germany-Kreuzberg´s Graefedistrict to be exact, a hip and growing part of town.
I love this idea of taking something old and making it new again. We should all try our best to repurpose thing, make good use of what we have before we consume more. Why not, right! I think that we all could do this same concept with things at home. All you have to do to make the old new is a coat of paint or an inventive change of use.
